In the beginning...

So, this is my first blog. Why SonShine? Well- you've probably guessed it's a play on words- my name- Sonia, and the fact that I couldn't get the blog name Project Shine, so had to come up with something else original. Project Shine was something that was Holy Spirit inspired a couple of years ago. It's something that I'm commissioned to do, and I kind of don't know how it's going to pan out, but I'm sure it will be great if God has his hand in it. Project Shine is a play on words too. It's another way of saying Projection. Projection- what you project from within to the outside world. Project Shine is Jesus saying, project me, who lives in you into the world and SHINE. My project, my life mission and what I'm gifted to do, is to help others to find the light within them, and to encourage them to let who they are shine. I suppose SonShine, is also an encouragement to myself to be true to who he has made me to be, and to Shine. And if it doesn't end there, it also means let the Son, aka Jesus... Shine, but you probably worked that one out for yourself...

Anyway, I plan to use this blog to share what I'm learning in my relationship with the Lord, as He teaches me through his word, through the Holy Spirit, and in my life experiences. I pray you'll be blessed.
